Long-Term Acute-Care Hospital

CareOne’s long-term acute-care hospital (LTACH) program, located at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, N.J., is designed to serve patients who have complex medical needs and require an extended treatment program (usually 25 days or more) within an acute-care setting.

LTACH offers state-of-the-art technology and highly skilled professionals trained to care specifically for patients who require advanced therapies, including:

• Pulmonary and tracheostomy care
• Chest tube management
• Infection treatment requiring isolation
• Ventilator management
• Multiple IV antibiotic therapy
• Cardiac IV medications/telemetry
• Post-cardiac surgery care
• Complex wound management
